Mrs. Claus’ Bed & Breakfast. Milk & Cookies served nightly since 1810.
This was such a fun little project! We had this old, ugly kitchen cart that we were dragging to the trash pile for pickup but decided to pull the door off the front. I’m so glad we did.
And below is what was created:
Sherida painted this in Licorice (black) first and then the red, Devotion (both paint colours by Country Chic Paint) & then distressed it with the hand sander. The letters I designed in Photoshop & we transferred them on.
We had the rustic looking hinges and handle on hand & bought the hooks at Vintage Vogue but spray painted them black to match. We also had the handle hardware but also painted that black to match.
Sherida was inspired by a similar sign she saw on Pinterest.
It was linked to an Etsy store but sadly because the item has been sold, we’re unable to see who the seller was. Otherwise we’d post their link. (if you know who made this, let us know and we’ll add in credit)
